Microsoft’s All-in-One Office App for Android Get File Card Support

Microsoft Started deploying file card support With an integrated Office app for Android. This feature comes with version 16.0.14228.20138 of the app, which allows users to get a preview of the document and access quick actions for these files.

“File Cards provide a rich, modern way to consume Office content with inline previews, contextual information such as the context shared with the person who shared the file, and quick actions on the card. To share files and keep them offline, “explained the Office team.

To try out this file card feature, users must sign in to the Office app with their Android phone personal account or Office 365 account. Then go to the Available Files section on the home screen and tap the File Card View icon.the user[共有]With tabs[最近]Office apps don’t change display settings while you switch tabs or close apps. However, to switch to the default list view, the user must go to the view switcher and tap the list icon.

Currently, the File Card feature is only available for PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PDF documents stored in OneDrive for Business and personal accounts. However, the Redmond giant also plans to add support for PDF and Word files stored locally on Android devices later this year.
