New Cooking Mobile Game, Chef Squad, is Now Available on Android for Early Access Only
Chef Squad is the newest competitive cooking simulation game where you can create your own bistro and customize it to match your own style. How you decorate your kitchen and dining area and how you control your employees is up to you. Players can assemble their very own brigade of chefs by hiring their favorites and firing those that are unwanted.
Collect new recipes and travel the world through food by finding recipes from different countries. There are a plethora of recipes available to add to your menu such as hot fudge sundae, grilled cheese, beet salad, and buffalo wings. Luckily, no real life skill in cooking is necessary, so anyone can play. There is also a level of competition to this game. Players compete against other restaurants and street vendors in order to climb to the top of the service food pyramid. As you gain more experience your business will grow, but in order to succeed, you must be strategic with how you run your kitchen and make good financial decisions and investments necessary for any successful business.
Players start with a starter level bistro, and must choose how to upgrade their restaurant to have more menu items, kitchen and dining space, and staff. The game provides tasks to prompt business expansion such as having ten chefs, gaining a regular customer, and berating other street vendors in a cooking competition. Once tasks are completed a reward is unlocked.
The Hong Kong based publishers, HRGAMES, also known for developing the combat RPG Three Kingdom: Epic War, have yet to announce the date of the global launch for Chef Squad, so cooking enthusiasts on iOS devices will have to be a little more patient. The game can be downloaded on Google Play for an early access trial. Below is a detailed gameplay walkthrough if you are interested to see what the game will look like.
